Clément Demonsant studied electroacoustic composition at the CRR of Toulouse, the Hochschule für Musik and Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar, as well as at the CNSMD in Lyon. Throughout his studies, he developed a particular interest in sound installation as a medium, which enables acousmatic art to be placed in specific listening environments and contexts, while also facilitating dialogue between sound, architecture, visual arts, and other forms of plastic arts. His artistic practice now sits at the intersection of electroacoustic composition and installation. Driven by a constant desire to express his most intimate aspirations, he appropriates both physical and imaginary spaces to offer a sensitive experience of reality.
