“Après nous, la poussière” is a representation of silence. A representation altered by faint murmurs, but also a representation that has been sublimated, becoming aesthetic. Sound and light materials meet here to tell, hand in hand, a reflection on silence, noise, perception, and persistence.
From fullness to almost nothing

Practical Aspects
The lighting system is a modular sculpture composed of 108 incandescent bulbs mounted on stands with a variable height between 1 and 2 meters.
The sound system consists of 4 or 8 speakers, forming a crown around the light sculpture, thus creating an immersive sound environment with multichannel diffusion.
With its modular design, the installation is meant to be a variable geometry object that can take on various forms: sometimes gathered, sometimes dispersed in the space. This way, the installation can adapt harmoniously to spaces with unique characteristics, allowing them to be revealed and engaged with. The project is therefore designed to inhabit a variety of installation spaces such as: frontal stage spaces, black-boxes, galleries, industrial wastelands, chapels, etc. The complete setup requires a minimum space of 50 m².
